Oakdene Hollins is an SME environmental consultancy with a focus on science-led research and evidence-based outputs. Their key areas of expertise are sustainability and circular economy, in which they have 25 years’ experience.
The Oakdene Hollins team all have excellent academic qualifications, complemented by a wide range of commercial and industrial backgrounds including chemistry, manufacturing, materials and engineering. Alongside delivering technical and sustainability support to clients, they also have a depth of experience in project management.
Fiberight
Fiberight Limited is a UK-based SME who has developed an innovative and novel process to recover value from residual waste. The business offers a complete circular economy solution for recycling and valorisation of waste.
Fiberight provide fully integrated waste management solutions, creating value from waste by generating high-value and sustainable products such as fibres, second-generation sugars, dry recyclables, low-carbon fuels and biogas.
Celignis
Celignis is a spin-out company from the University of Limerick in Ireland. It was formed to commercialise the rapid biomass analysis methods developed under the EU FP7 project DIBANET (www.dibanet.org).
Celginis has a well-equipped laboratory and highly trained personnel able to provide high throughput and accurate biomass analysis services for bioenergy and biorefinery industry clients across the globe.
EW Biotech
In 2006 Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (TKIS) established a biotech division with the objective of developing a feasible Lactic Acid process. At the end of 2016 TKIS sold their Biotech Division to the EW Group, operating now under the name of EW Biotech GmbH (EWB).
EWB owns and operates both a biotech and an analytical laboratory, a pilot facility and a multi-purpose demonstration plant with a capacity to produce up to 1,000 mt/year of organic acids.
AEP Polymers
AEP Polymers is an innovation-based company, focused on applied R&D in the field of industrial polymers and intelligent formulations from non-edible biobased sources.
Founded in 2013, and with four highly trained employees, AEP has special expertise in numerous industrial fields including fibre-reinforced composites, epoxy resins and polyurethanes.
Transfercenter für Kunststofftechnik GmbH (TCKT)
TCKT is an application-oriented research centre for plastic-technology and composites. It has a great deal of experience in producing polymer matrix composites with all types of fillers and in testing the produced compositions. Since 2004, TCKT is a test laboratory accredited by ISO 17025.
Institute for Energy and Environmental Research Heidelberg (IFEU)
ifeu conducts research and provides a worldwide consultancy service in relation to all major environmental and sustainability issues. With more than 40 years of experience, ifeu is one of the most important ecological research institutes in Germany. Our work is characterised by experience and independence combined with a practical and target-based approach. ifeu currently employs 80 staff with a background in natural sciences, engineering and social sciences at its sites in Heidelberg and Berlin.

Providing solutions for commercial and residential buildings, for both new build and refurbishment projects. Knauf Insulation is dedicated to sustainable products and improvements in their manufacturing and supply chain operations.
